What can cause Eczema?

If you Google “what causes eczema?” the typical answers describe an inflammatory skin condition, genetic in origin, primarily related to an abnormality in the skin. The answers seem to suggest that since it is genetic we are unable to change the root cause of the problem. Most people think of eczema as an isolated skin condition since it has an obvious presence on the skin. I want to squash these notions right here and now.

COVID-19 Vaccine and Eczema

If you haven’t had at least one debate with someone over the Covid-19 vaccine then you most likely have been living under a rock for the last year. The amount of misinformation circulating about the virus, the vaccine, or the nation’s response is mind-boggling. My mission with this blog is to provide reliable information to families to help their children thrive. He never had any type of severe reaction to food, like a peanut allergy, for instance, so we assumed his skin problems were NOT food-related. Despite topical steroids (this is before I realized the error in my ways), his symptoms continued to worsen particularly on his chest, back, and face.
