Eczema Friendly Bento Box

If your child’s school provided lunches are as scary as my kid’s schools have been, you will definitely want to pack something for the kiddos. It’s alarming that the pitiful slab of sauce on a school pizza slice is considered a vegetable serving by the government. But coming up with ideas for school lunches doesn’t need to be overwhelming for parents. Especially for those with children that suffer with eczema. This Bento Box is a quick and easy eczema-friendly option! Feel free to add any other fruits, nuts, or veggies of your choice!

Untitled (24.79 × 20 in)

  • turkey or prosciutto
  • crackers
  • pickles
  • olives
  • chopped veggies
  • organic hummus
  • dates
  •  almond butter

  1. Put together a simple charcuterie try with the ingredients listed above. Feel free to add any other fruits or veggies of your choice.
  2. Stuff a few of the dates with almond butter. They are best if made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
